  2.               AUTOMATIC INSTALLATION
  3.  
  4. The INSTALL NEXT Button will install Kudo Catalog Reader 
  5. which you require to access your AUSTRALIAN SCHOOL PROJECTS 
  6. AND HOME REFERENCE LIBRARY under Windows 95. It will take a 
  7. few seconds to load, so please be patient. 
  8.  
  9. You MUST INSTALL this program to access AUSTRALIAN SCHOOL 
  10. PROJECTS AND HOME REFERENCE LIBRARY.
  11.  
  12. For Automatic Installation, exit this text file now (Click 
  13. on "File", then "Exit"). This will return you to the blue 
  14. Installation Screen, where you should select INSTALL THIS 
  15. FIRST.

  19. IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS INSTALLING
  20.  
  21. Kudo Catalog Reader requires about 16Mb free space FOR 
  22. INSTALLATION during which temporary files are created
  23. which are deleted when installation is complete. If you
  24. find an installation is not completing, create more space
  25. on your hard disk and then re-install Kudo.
  26.  
  27. Kudo Catalog Reader very occasionally aborts an installation
  28. partway through the installation process. When that happens,
  29. exit from this installation program. Go to Windows Explorer
  30. and check whether the subdirectory C:\KUDOREAD has been
  31. created. DELETE this subdirectory and all its files. Return
  32. to this installation program. When during the installation
  33. process Kudo suggests you install the program in the
  34. subdirectory C:\KUDOREAD, do NOT accept this but change the
  35. subdirectory to read C:\KUDORUN. Now continue with the
  36. installation.

  43. Read the note below ONLY IF YOU WISH TO INSTALL MANUALLY.

  45. IMPORTANT NOTE: The Kudo Catalogue Reader Setup program 
  46. will recommend that you to close all Windows programs. 
  47. It is generally not necessary to close this SCHOOL 
  48. PROJECTS program, since you need it to launch the Kudo 
  49. Catalogue Reader install program. However, there is a 
  50. slight chance that keeping it open could cause some 
  51. problems.

  53. If you prefer, you can close the SCHOOL PROJECTS 
  54. program and install Kudo Catalogue Reader manually.
  55.  
  56. Select "Quit" on the main menu to exit the SCHOOL 
  57. PROJECTS PROGRAM. 
  58.  
  59. You must now manually install Kudo Catalogue Reader. 
  60. From the Windows 95 "Start" button, select "Run", 
  61. then "Browse" to take you to
  62.  
  63. CD-DRIVE:\Win_Kudo\Setup32
  64.  
  65. (where "CD-DRIVE" is the driveletter of your CD-ROM 
  66. drive.)
  67.  
  68. Select "Programs" in the "List Files of Type" box, 
  69. and you will see the program named "Setup.exe"
  70.  
  71. Click on this, then click on "OK". Installation 
  72. will begin. When you have completed your installation 
  73. and rebooted your computer, you can start your 
  74. SCHOOL PROJECTS CD-ROM. Your Instruction Guide 
  75. explains how to do this.
